TOV 25-117 A Love Letter from God: Courageous Manhood – Facing Fears with Faith

TODAY’S FOCUS IS: Discovering strength through God in the face of fear
5

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” —Joshua 1:9 (ESV)

My Son,

When I called you, I knew exactly what you would face. I knew the giants in your path, the fears that would rattle your bones, and the doubts that would whisper, “You’re not enough.” But still—I called you.

Because I’m not asking you to face the battle alone. I’m asking you to walk with Me, to trust Me, to lean into My strength when your own feels small. Courage isn’t the absence of fear—it’s obedience in the middle of it. True manhood doesn’t come from bravado or perfection. It comes from surrender. It comes from choosing faith over fear, one step at a time.

I have placed My Spirit within you. The same power that raised Christ from the dead is alive in you. So when fear shows up at your door, don’t shrink back—stand up. Not in your own strength, but in Mine. You are not a victim. You are not weak. You are My warrior, forged in love and armored in grace.

You don’t have to have it all figured out. Just take the next step. I am with you—before you, behind you, within you. I will not leave you to fight alone. Your courage will inspire others. Your obedience will break chains. And your faith? It will move mountains.

So rise up, son. Be strong. Be courageous.

I’ve got you,
Your Father
