Let’s call it what it is—porn is poison. It’s one of the most destructive forces men face today. And yet, it’s also one of the most common. The enemy wants you to believe that you’ll never be free, that you’ll always be chained to that screen, that late-night battle, that hidden addiction. But I’m here to tell you the truth: freedom is not only possible—it’s promised.
Our springboard for today’s discussion is:
“For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace.” — Romans 6:14 (ESV)
This isn’t about behavior management. It’s about identity. You are not a slave to sin. You are not just a man with a weakness. You are a son of the living God—and sin has no dominion over you.
Porn doesn’t just affect your eyes. It rewires your brain. It dulls your spirit. It damages relationships. It creates shame, secrecy, and isolation.
But here's the power of grace: Jesus didn’t die to help you cope with sin. He died to kill it.
So how do we walk in victory?
Confess it. Don’t sugarcoat it. Call it what it is and bring it into the light.
Cut off access. Be ruthless. Use filters. Ditch apps. Block websites. Whatever it takes.
Find accountability. You weren’t meant to do this alone. A brother who knows your battle can help carry your burden.
Renew your mind. Get in the Word. Replace lies with truth. Let God’s voice be louder than lust’s whisper.
Freedom is not a one-time decision. It’s a daily declaration. But you don’t fight for victory—you fight from it.
