Psalm 137:6 KJV

If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy.

Proverbs 22:23

For the Lord will plead their cause, and spoil the soul of those that spoiled them.

Isaiah 17:14 KJV

And behold at eveningtide trouble; and before the morning he is not. This is the portion of them that spoil us, and the lot of them that rob us.

Isaiah 62:1 KJV

For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.

Isaiah 62:6-7 KJV

6 I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the Lord, keep not silence,

7 And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

Ezekiel 38:17-21 KJV

17 Thus saith the Lord God; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them?

18 And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord God, that my fury shall come up in my face.

19 For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;

20 So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.

21 And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord God: every man's sword shall be against his brother.

The old Covenant is dead. We are in the New Covenant and we are God's chosen people and we are called Israel.

God also said that He will curse those that bless thee who do not have this gospel, the gospel of the New Covenant.

2 John 1:7-11 KJV

[7] For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. [8] Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. [9] Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. [10] If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: [11] for he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

The statement you provided is indeed Replacement Theology, but let's break it down for clarity.

What is Replacement Theology?

Replacement Theology, also known as Supersessionism, is the belief that the Church has replaced Israel as God's chosen people. In its most basic form, this theology asserts that:

The Old Covenant is obsolete.

God's promises to Israel in the Old Testament are now fulfilled in the Church.

The Church is the "new Israel" and inherits all the promises made to Israel.

Analyzing the Statement: "The Old Covenant is dead."

This aligns with the New Testament teaching that the Mosaic Covenant (the law given to Israel) has been fulfilled in Jesus Christ. Scriptures like Hebrews 8:13 say, "By calling this covenant 'new,' he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and outdated will soon disappear."

However, this does not mean the Old Testament is irrelevant or that God’s covenantal relationship with Israel no longer has significance. The Old Testament is foundational to understanding the New.

"We are in the New Covenant."

This is a key Christian doctrine based on Jesus' words at the Last Supper: "This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you" (Luke 22:20). Christians believe they are participants in the New Covenant through faith in Christ.

"We are God's chosen people and we are called Israel."

This is the most significant part of your statement concerning Replacement Theology.

In the New Testament, the Church is often described as God's people (e.g., 1 Peter 2:9) and is grafted into the promises of Israel (Romans 11:17-24). However, this does not necessarily mean the Church replaces Israel. Paul explicitly states in Romans 11:1-2, "God has not rejected his people [Israel]."

Many Christians interpret the Church's identity as being spiritually grafted into Israel (the people of God), but without nullifying God’s future plans for ethnic Israel.

Does This Statement Reflect Replacement Theology?

Yes, it could be considered Replacement Theology if it:

Asserts that God has completely rejected ethnic Israel as His chosen people.

Claims that all promises made to Israel are now only for the Church.

However, many theologians, especially those in Covenant Theology, would hold similar views while emphasizing the continuity of God's plan for Israel and the Church. A contrasting perspective, Dispensational Theology, holds that Israel and the Church are distinct in God’s plan and that God still has specific promises for ethnic Israel.

Conclusion:

The statement reflects a form of Replacement Theology, but whether it is entirely so depends on the underlying context:

If it denies God's ongoing covenantal relationship with ethnic Israel, then it fits Replacement Theology.

If it views the Church as a continuation or fulfillment of Israel without negating God’s future plans for ethnic Israel, it aligns more with Covenant Theology.

REPLACEMENT THEOLOGY comes directly out of Hitlers bible. Wake up.

No dear

"WE ALL ARE CHOSEN as FAVORITES"

If I'm anti-semitic than so too is Pope Francis for attending the inauguration of a seasonal nativity scene, presented by Palestinian officials, that featured a baby Jesus lying on a keffiyeh, the traditional scarf used by Palestinians as a national symbol.

I am a wretched sinner, no better no worse than my fellow man. I don't hold myself above anyone,

WE ALL ARE EQUAL IN THE EYES OF GOD.

Yes...the pope is also antiemetic for that very reason.

Back in the time of Jesus...there was no Palestine.

If you are FOR Palestine...then you are part of the problem.
