I’m grateful for my true friends that will lift me up when I fail…without judgement.

There are two brothers in my care towards the restoration process. One brother, a bible study leader is now in jail for a violation of a PFA, and the other, an AWANA leader and a member of our church for 30 years has confessed to an addiction to porn. Your right, not easy... their sin goes deeper than the confession and imprisonment, there is pride, playing church, no dedication to reading God's word and prayer. And a distancing from any true accountability. Yes, my brother, we have work to do.

Jose, my brother,

Thank you for sharing your heart. The weight you’re carrying is not light—but you are not carrying it alone. Here's a prayer I offer on your behalf and for the two brothers in your care:

Father God,

We come before You not with easy answers but with open hearts. Two men, once seen as pillars in ministry, are now standing in brokenness, exposed not just by their actions but by the deeper roots of pride, pretense, and distance from You. But Lord, nothing is hidden from Your sight—and still, You love. Still, You pursue. Still, You redeem.

We ask You, Lord, to break through the spiritual hardness that has formed around their hearts. Shatter the illusion of "playing church" and replace it with a hunger for real transformation. May their imprisonment—whether physical or spiritual—become the place where true freedom begins.

For Jose, Lord, give him supernatural wisdom, discernment, and strength. Fill him with Your Spirit as he walks this road of restoration with these men. Remind him that You are the Good Shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to go after the one—and that You have placed him in this role for such a time as this.

Let repentance be real. Let healing be deep. And let Your glory rise out of the ashes of these failures.

In the mighty name of Jesus,

Amen.
