TOV 25-173 A Love Letter From God: Being Honest About Struggles

TODAY’S FOCUS IS: Letting Me Into the Battle You’ve Been Hiding
1
1

“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18 (ESV)

My Son,

You don’t have to pretend with Me. I see the battles you haven’t told anyone about. The ones that visit you late at night. The shame that whispers, “Don’t let them see this.” The voice that says, “You should be past this by now.”

But I want you to hear Me now—I don’t run from your weakness. I draw near to it.

You’ve been trying to fix it all before bringing it to Me. But healing doesn’t start after you’re cleaned up—it starts the moment you get honest.

I’m not surprised by your struggle. I’m not disappointed in your battle. I’m not distant because of your wounds.

I’m right here.

I didn’t call you to be a man who hides—I called you to be a man who heals. And healing starts with truth. With confession. With brothers who won’t flinch when they hear your pain.

You think you have to carry this alone. But son, I never gave you that burden. I gave you My Son. I gave you brothers. I gave you grace.

Let Me into the place you’ve locked the door. Let Me touch what’s infected and festering. Let Me show you that you’re not too far gone.

There’s no shame in struggle. There’s only danger in silence.

Come out of hiding. Say the words you’ve been afraid to say. I’m not going anywhere.

And when you finally let the walls fall… that’s where freedom begins.

I love you. Fully. Forever. Even in this.

—Your Father
