Today, we’re talking about power—not the kind that comes from money, influence, or physical strength. The real question is: What are you plugged into? Every man draws power from something. Some plug into their careers, seeking validation through success. Others lean on their own strength, convinced they can handle life’s battles alone. But here’s the truth: unless you’re plugged into God’s power, you’re running on borrowed energy.
Our springboard for today’s discussion is: "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power."—Ephesians 6:10 (ESV)
The world sells us a lie: that we’re self-sufficient. That as long as we grind hard enough, we’ll succeed. But have you ever noticed that even at your strongest, something still feels off? That no matter how much you achieve, it’s never enough? That’s because human strength was never designed to sustain a warrior of God. We are meant to be powered by something greater—God’s mighty power.
Being plugged into God means surrendering control. It means recognizing that our wisdom, strength, and endurance are limited, but His is infinite. The enemy wants you to believe you can do it on your own. But true warriors know where their real strength comes from.
Question of the Day:
Where have you been trying to power through life without God? How can you shift your reliance to His strength today?
Prayer:
Father, I confess that I often try to rely on my own strength instead of Yours. Teach me to plug into Your power daily. Fill me with the strength that only You can provide, and help me to walk in the might of Your Spirit. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
