The Unseen Might: A Man Fueled by Divine Grace
Grace: The Celestial Forge of a Spiritual Warrior's Strength
(NOTE: The audio is from Eric Ludy of Ellerslie Discipleship Training. This blog is what I personally learned from this audio).
Scripture:
"For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose." – Philippians 2:13
In the trenches of life's toughest battles, stands a figure both ordinary and extraordinary. A real spiritual man of God is not defined by his towering presence or his charismatic voice echoing through the halls of Sunday service. No, this man walks among us, cloaked in humility yet armed with an invisible power that makes the impossible possible—grace.
1. Grace in the Grind - This man knows the grind, not just the daily hustle to put bread on the table, but the relentless inner toil that comes with carrying a vision only seen through the eyes of faith. I believe in…sweat equity, speaking to the dignity of hard work. Yet, what of the work unseen? Our man understands that grace is the fabric of his effort, weaving through his very fibers, reinforcing his will when his body screams surrender. When his own strength falters, Grace whispers, "Stand up, try again, push forward."
2. Grace in the Grit - Adversity is his unwelcome companion, a persistent thorn in his side. But a spiritual man of God greets this foe with a knowing smirk, aware that each trial is but an opportunity for grace to shine. He embodies resilience, not as a badge of personal valor, but as a testament to the divine grit that infuses his spirit. It is grace that gives him the audacity to love in the face of hatred, to forgive when wronged, and to serve when self would rather reign.
3. Grace in the Giving - This man gives—not from his surplus, but from his substance. In acts unseen, his generosity flows not from a wallet flush with cash, but from a heart flush with grace. He gives his time, his ear, his shoulder. He's the man who'll change your tire in the rain, who'll feed your cat while you're away, and who doesn't need to broadcast it on social media. It's grace that compels him, grace that fuels him, grace that turns his ordinary into someone else's miracle.
Conclusion: The spiritual man of God knows his secret. He's powered by a source that the world neither offers nor understands. He's strong because he's weak; he's rich because he's given it all away; he's wise because he knows how little he knows. This man is the embodiment of grace in motion, the human heart beatboxing to a divine rhythm.
Call to Action: Men, it's time to look beyond the mirror, beyond the bravado. Let's tap into the wellspring of grace that awaits our draw. Roll up those sleeves—not just for the work to be done, but for the lives to be touched, the burdens to be shared, the love to be spread.
Prayer: Lord, we are vessels—cracked and imperfect—yet You pour into us Your perfect grace. May it strengthen our hands, quicken our feet, and embolden our hearts to do Your impossible work. Amen.
"The real world is not a place for the faint of heart." Well, the spiritual battlefield is not for the spiritually faint either. It's for the grace-empowered warriors (you and me Men Of God) ready to build, battle, and bless in the name of the One who calls us.
So as you stand in the quarry of life, chiseling away with sweat on your brow and determination in your heart, remember that it's grace that sharpens your chisel and guides your stroke. Keep swinging, keep striving, and above all, keep the faith—grace has got you covered.
