Location: Israel
Time: Circa 50 A.D.
Primary Scripture: John 10:10 — “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”
Peter stands before a group of eager followers, the lines of his face etched with years of trials and triumphs. His voice, strong yet compassionate, carries the weight of a man who has walked the path of faith, stumbled, and been restored by the very One he now proclaims.
Peter:
My friends, I was once a fisherman, casting my nets into the waters of Galilee. My life was simple, my goals straightforward: provide for my family, live another day. But then He came—Jesus of Nazareth—and called me to leave my nets behind. He said, “Follow me, and I will make you a fisher of men.” And from that moment, my life was forever changed.
Now, I stand before you as a messenger of life, for this is the mission He gave me: to proclaim the abundant life found only in Him. Jesus said, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full” (John 10:10). But what does it mean to have life to the full? Let me explain it as I have come to understand.
