FROM: S.W.A.T. Command — under the authority of the King of kings
RE: Stop waiting to be attacked. You were deployed to advance.
Warrior,
Hear me. There is a lie that has kept good soldiers crouched in foxholes their whole lives — the lie that the Christian life is defense. That you hunker down, hold out, and hope to survive until the King comes back for you. Burn that lie to the ground today.
You do not belong to a hiding army. You belong to a descending one. “We descend from the sky, Heaven’s army we will fly.” That is not a metaphor for retreat. That is divine offense. When the King speaks of His Church, He does not describe a wall under siege — He describes a charge. “And the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” (Matthew 16:18) Gates are defensive. Gates do not chase armies. The enemy is the one behind the wall. You are the one knocking it down.
“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” — Luke 10:19 (KJV)
So when you lift the hammer, lift it knowing what it is. “Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?” (Jeremiah 23:29) The hammer in your hand is His Word. And when it falls, rock breaks.
YOUR TACTICS FOR THE FIGHT
TACTIC 1 — DESCEND. You are not climbing toward a fight you might lose. You are descending from a victory already secured, into enemy ground. Take the initiative. Move toward the storm, not away from it. “The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.” (Proverbs 28:1)
TACTIC 2 — EXPEL FEAR. Fear is not from your Commander, so do not let it give you orders. The song says it plain — expel fear, for the war is here. “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7) Fear is a deserter. Leave it behind the line.
TACTIC 3 — ROAR. The lion’s roar is not arrogance — it is the voice of the one who knows whose name he carries. You roar because the Lion roars first. “Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda... hath prevailed.” (Revelation 5:5) Lift your eyes. Lift your voice. Let the enemy hear that the ground is taken.
TACTIC 4 — LET THE HAMMER FALL. Demons do not flee from your temper or your talent. They flee from a saint who resists in the authority of the King. “Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” (James 4:7) Plant your feet, raise the hammer of the Word, and let it fall. The rock will break before you do.
TACTIC 5 — SOUND THE CRY — AHOO! This is the guttural shout of an army that has already counted the cost and chosen the charge. AHOO! is the sound of the hammer and the voice rising together — one body, one war cry, one King. Sound it loud enough that the saints beside you take heart and the darkness loses its.

The army descending is bigger than you, and it is still gathering. No warrior flies alone. Christ conquers all. Not will conquer — already conquers. You are not fighting to make it true. You are descending to enforce what is already true. And your one assignment is endurance: “But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” (Matthew 24:13) Unbroken till the end.
So raise the cross and bring the fight. The storm you have been dreading is the very ground you were sent to take.
