I have always appreciated this and the example of David and His mighty men given! Satan and those under his charge are mounting their final attempts to usurp the Throne and Glory of God Almighty. "Woe to you, O earth and sea, for the Devil has come down to you in great wrath. because he knows that his time is short" (Rev 12:12), is an admonishment the People of God must heed! Therefore, as humanity sits on the threshold of a climatic, offensive, Unholy Aggression, we need an extraordinary Holy Warrior Caste in the spirit to arise in our generation; a venerable Class comprised of those who have been (and who will be) Redeemed; those of whom it can be said, "[They] are of a different spirit and follow [The Lord] wholeheartedly" (Num 14:24).
The Lord, the Perfect Warrior and the Lord of Hosts ("Lord of the Heaven's Armies"), calls His people into the True and Better Warrior Culture. With any Warrior Society, it is not the outward training, tools, and resources which differentiate them from the majority; rather it is their very distinctive inward, intrinsic Warrior Spirit. It is no different for the People of God. Undergirded by virtuous Ethos, Codes of Conduct, highly esteemed "cultural expectations", and unequaled Esprit de Corps (rich brotherly love and comradery), the Warrior Class of the Most High is to exude even greater selfless sacrifice, honour, devotion, dynamism, and fortitude than the stalwart young men and women on the modern battlefield. By faith in God, and in intensive zeal, we are to employ all the "martial methods" necessary to benefit humanity and accomplish the Kingdom Objectives for which we endeavor.
