Another way of approaching the cure for the modern male malaise comes from the book "King, Warrior, Magician, Lover: Rediscovering the Archetypes of the Mature Masculine," by Jungian psychologist Robert Moore and mythologist Douglas Gillette. Moore argues that masculinity is made up of four archetypal male energies which serve different purposes. All men, whether born in the U.S. or Africa, are born with these archetypal energies. The authors argue that to become a complete man, a man must work to develop all four archetypes. The result of striving to become complete is a feeling of manly confidence and purpose.

According to Moore and Gillette, we are living in the age of the "shadow magician."

Not me though, I try to find my contentment through my Lover Archetype:

Curious...why is it so important to remove God from the equation?

Never suggested to remove God from the equation.

I'm personally not into organized religions, I am a deist.

As a deist, I can admire God's creations.

Masculine intelligence is lacking in today's society, too many boyish men, lord of the flies running the show. I merely wanted to suggest how Moore and Gillette provides a roadmap to mature masculinity. When I read your article, you used terms associated with the Lover Archetype's view of the world.

Why do you think God is not responsible for creating the masculine psyche in all men?

But He is...but through Him...and not of ourselves...or any other means.

And that is the problem. Men try and do it on their own...and that will NEVER work...because that involves pride ("I can do it MY way").

Your beliefs require it to be done on your own (Pride). God hates pride.

Satan's biggest weapon against men...is to "skirt" around God...and do it "Their" way.

Moore and Gillette suggests in their roadmap to mature masculinity that God is crucial to transcend.

My belief is that any organization is in danger of being usurped by narcissists, Godless people that are sheep in wolf's clothing, because the narcissist's "pride" strives them to be the leader in any organization, and then leading that flock astray.

Did Jesus order the Christians to organize or simply accept Him into their hearts?

Now, I sense this is going to turn into a circle argument between science (psychology) or religion. If you had answered my question about is God responsible for creating the masculine psyche in all men, and since I had answered your question to be respectful, I would had stayed in this debate, so let's just agree to disagree...

Have a nice day Mr. Adams.

Hmmm...I did answer it. You don't accept that it is God...and God alone where we receive our "Orders From The Commander".

And you are correct...this could go in circles God Vs Science.

Clue: God wins. Science loses.

Hope you learn the TRUTH soon...we are VERY close to not being able to "choose" anymore. And those that choose "science" will find themselves in VERY HOT water...minus the water...for eternity
