To Those Who Have Known Pain,
My life is a story few speak of. I am Dinah, the daughter of Jacob and Leah, the only daughter among twelve brothers, and the child of a family tangled in rivalry, favoritism, and brokenness. Mine was a home filled with the weight of unspoken pain, the echoes of betrayal, and the longing for love that often went unmet.
My father loved Rachel, not Leah, my mother. I grew up watching my mother ache for his affection, while Rachel basked in his love. My brothers—born of different mothers—competed for his attention, each one desperate to prove himself. And in the midst of it all, I was simply there, unseen, unheard, a daughter in a family where sons were everything.
