Heb. 1:1-3 tells us clearly that God no loinger uses dreams. Jesus Christ is the full and final revelation of God. He is the living Word (John 1:1-3, 14) and the Bible is the written Word (2 Tim. 3:16-17). When you rely upon dreams, you are denying that Jesus Christ and the Bible are the full and final revelation of God. Looking to dreams is a denial of Christ and His Word.

Thank you for your comment...but remember, God's Word never contradicts itself...

Hebrews 1:1-3 indeed affirms that Jesus Christ is the ultimate revelation of God. However, this does not mean that God has ceased to communicate in ways He has used throughout scripture, including dreams. Nowhere does the Bible state that God only speaks through Scripture and no longer speaks in dreams.

Joel 2:28, which is reaffirmed in Acts 2:17, says:

“And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions.”

This prophecy, spoken by Peter at Pentecost, makes it clear that in the last days, God will still use dreams and visions as a means of communication.

Furthermore, in Matthew 2:12-13, God used dreams to warn the wise men and Joseph. The book of Acts also records God speaking through visions and dreams to His people, such as to Paul (Acts 16:9-10) and Cornelius (Acts 10:3-6).

Of course, all personal revelation must be tested against the written Word of God (1 John 4:1, 2 Tim. 3:16-17). Dreams do not replace Scripture but can be one of the many ways God chooses to guide His people. Holding to the full authority of Scripture does not mean denying that God can still move in supernatural ways, as He has throughout biblical history.
