“Question of the Day: What challenges do you anticipate in carving out the first 20 minutes of your day for God, and how can you address them?”
My is answer to this question is to set my alarm an hour early each day to ensure that I have enough time to spend with Him. This one change has caused my spiritual growth to skyrocket.
Hi Michelle - Oftentimes I find myself getting caught up responding to emails and text messages first thing in the morning. When I take time to commune with God, my day goes so much better.
Love this! Another practice to consider is incorporating worship into your morning routine. Worship deepens our connection with God and sets a tone of reverence for the day and helps align our hearts with His will and purpose.
Great ideas but hard when mornings are busy in a household with 3 boys under the age of 15. I’m still looking at how to do this each morning based on life’s seasons.
Good counsel. I, however, am a total night person. Since I am retired, I do not have a specific morning schedule. I do, however, spend my quality time with Papa God, His Son and Holy Spirit, in the deep quiet of the late night. I have always been a night person, even from my youth. I write at night, I look at the stars and I sit with my Bible, my pen and notebook, pour out my heart of what I need to, repent and seek His face. I admire morning people, I am just not one. I do absolutely know the need to spend time with God, that is a total given.

Michelle and I do that as well...our mornings are filled to the brim with time with God.

The point is...you have it nailed down...and that is all that God wants.❤️
