You’re always God centered in an amazing way. We may never know what impact we have made when we share the gospel with others who have not heard about Jesus Christ. Or someone who is struggling with their own relationship with Christ because of the noise of the world around them. I was one of these people. I had slipped into complacency and I couldn’t drown out that noise long enough to hear the whispering of the Holy Spirit. It was a miserable experience and I longed for the connection lost. I could not feel Or see the results of my spiritual awakening, lost by none other than myself. He never left me, but waited for my return. The years of suffering were needed for me to seek God. Eventually pride, ego, selfishness, self loathing, shame and guilt brought me to my knees. He never left and I needed to understand that living by faith alone means I won’t always hear a profound, ground shaking acknowledgement from our Lord for Him to be there, to know He’s there, waiting for me.

I’m an addict in recovery and have 18 1/2 years clean. That’s not my doing but His! Part of my recovery process means attending meetings and sharing my strength, hope, courage wisdom, strength in times of crisis and what I do to stay clean, by the grace of God. I had an individual approach me after a meeting and told me that his brother had passed away. He said his brother had a message and if he ever saw me in a meeting to tell her that something I had shared was instrumental to his recovery. This was years ago. He didn’t know exactly what I shared, but only it had saved his brother from relapsing. His brother died clean. My point is this, keep sharing the way you are here on Substack because you may never know how at some point, in someone’s life your message may affect someone so much that their life with God could or would become a spiritual blessing for that individual, as you have mine. I look forward to a daily message from you backed up by scripture. Every morning! What a way to start my day! Thank you again 🙏💝🥰

I didn’t do it alone. He always put whatever or whoever in my life to strengthen me. Peace in His love was what I was looking for all along.
