What Moves Your Heart? Discovering Your God-Given Mission
TODAY'S FOCUS IS: Recognizing and Acting on the Burdens God Places in Your Heart
"Give, and it will be given to you." āLuke 6:38
What Breaks Your Heart? What Stirs Your Spirit?
Men of God, have you ever found yourself deeply moved by a situationāso much so that it lingers in your mind and spirit? Maybe itās a struggling young man who reminds you of your younger self. Maybe itās the fatherless, the broken, the addicted, or those stuck in the same cycles youāve fought to break. When you see injustice, loss, or pain, something in you stirs.
That, brother, is not random. That is Godās voice.
When we surrender our lives to Christ, He does more than save usāHe reshapes us. He gives us new hearts, new desires, new burdens. "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh." (Ezekiel 36:26)
But hereās the thing: not every burden is yours to carry.
The Call to MoveāBut Not on Everything
The moment you begin to care about something deeply, youāll hear a dangerous lie from the enemy:
"If you really loved God, youād care about every need."
Lies.
God never asked you to fix everything. If you tried, youād burn out, get discouraged, and become ineffective. The whole Body of Christ exists because we each have a specific calling.
Paul put it plainly:
"For the body does not consist of one member but of many⦠If the whole body were an eye, where would be the sense of hearing?" (1 Corinthians 12:14-17)
The needs in the world are endlessābut your mission is specific.
What moves your heart is not random. Itās Godās invitation.
Finding Your Assignment
Near the end of his life, St. Francis of Assisi prayed:
"I have done what is mine to do. May Christ teach you what is yours."
What if we lived that way, too?
Not doing everything. Not doing what someone else thinks we should do. But asking God:
"What is mine to do?"
Hereās the truth:
ā
You donāt have to care about everything, but you do have to care about something.
ā
You donāt have to fix the whole world, but you are responsible for the part God puts in front of you.
ā
You donāt have to help everyone, but you do have to help someone.
Your heart is not stirred by accident. Itās your assignment alert.
So, What Moves You?
Think about it, brother. What need, what struggle, what pain in others grips your heart the most?
ā Is it fatherless young men who need a role model?
ā Is it the broken marriages all around you?
ā Is it the fight against addiction, knowing what it's like to battle demons?
ā Is it men who are spiritually lost and need bold leadership?
God is calling you specifically to something. But if you ignore that call, youāll feel an emptinessābecause you were built for more than survival.
You were built for Kingdom work.
What Do We Do?
1. Pay Attention to What Stirs You
What do you always notice?
What injustice, pain, or need stirs something deep in you?
Where do you feel a righteous frustrationāa sense that āthis isnāt how it should beā?
2. Seek God in Prayer
Ask boldly: āLord, what is mine to do?ā
Ask Him to make it clear what part of the fight is your assignment.
3. Take a Small First Step
Find one person who represents the burden in your heart.
Encourage them. Pray for them. Help them in a practical way.
No big announcements. No grand gestures. Just obedience.
Challenge of the Week
This week, I want you to:
ā
Write down one need that deeply moves you.
ā
Pray for clarityāwhat is yours to do?
ā
Take one simple step. Serve one person.
Remember: God did not call you to fix everything. But He did call you to something.
Letās Pray
Father,
I donāt want to live passively. I donāt want to waste my life waiting for someone else to step up. Stir my heart for what Youāve called me to do. Show me who I am meant to help, lead, and serve. Give me the courage to take action. Let me be obedientāeven when itās small, even when itās inconvenient. In Jesusā name, Amen.
This is where your life changes. This is where your mission begins.
Brother, what moves your heart is not random.
Letās Get to Work!
You have really encouraged me today, Thankyou šā¤ļøā𩹠and May the Lord Jesus/ YESHUA Bless you always
