As believers, we often find ourselves thinking about grand opportunities to make a differenceâlike preaching to a stadium of thousands or leading a massive congregation. But God doesnât always call us to the grand stages. Sometimes, His call is much closer to home. He calls us to be faithful stewards in every aspect of life, including the choices we make in voting. Voting is not just a civic duty; it's a powerful way to voice the will of God in our nation.
You may never have the platform of a Billy Graham or the influence of a Charles Spurgeon, but make no mistakeâevery opportunity to cast a vote is a moment to stand up for righteousness. Scripture speaks to us clearly about being faithful with the talents and opportunities we are given:
"His master said to him, âWell done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.â" âMatthew 25:23 (ESV)
In a messy, divisive, and morally decaying world, God is using the turbulence to separate the wheat from the chaff, the true followers from the pretenders. There are no gray zones left for those who claim Christ but remain passive. Here in California, the lines are clear, and the gloves are off. As you walk into the voting booth, you have a choice: to vote according to a biblical worldview or to retreat in silence, letting wickedness gain ground.
Elections are more than political contests. They are moral battlegrounds. By voting for policies that honor Godâprotecting life, upholding righteousnessâyou are voicing Godâs will in a broken world. To cast a vote is not merely to check a box but to take a stand, to declare that you will not be complicit in the advance of evil. We are at war, not with flesh and blood, but with the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). Our fight is not just on our knees; it is in our actions, in our choices, in our votes.
Itâs heartbreaking that many who profess to follow Christ will bury this God-given opportunity. They will sit out and say, âIt doesnât matter. My vote doesnât count.â But Scripture warns us of this very attitude:
"So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin." âJames 4:17 (ESV)
Pastor Dietrich Bonhoeffer, who faced the horrors of Nazi Germany, said it with piercing clarity:
"Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act." âDietrich Bonhoeffer
To not vote is to vote for the continued march of wickedness. Evil will fill the void where Christians fail to act. Just look around at states like California, where millions of believers remain silent, allowing ungodly leaders to take charge. And when the consequences of this inaction come, they pack up and leaveârelocating their apathy instead of taking a stand for righteousness.
"Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap." âGalatians 6:7 (ESV)
The choice is before us, and it is clear. Will you vote and voice the will of God, or will you allow evil to advance unchecked? As Christians, we cannot afford to sit out. We cannot afford to bury the talents God has entrusted to us. Let us rise and voteânot just with our ballots but with our hearts, our voices, and our lives. Let us stand for the truth, for righteousness, and for the advancement of Godâs kingdom.
We are in the end of the end times. We have unGodly leaders running our country right now. Do not say your vote won't matter, Jesus expects us all to stand for the innocent babies that are murdered every day in Canada, through Trudeau's careless government! Hi's moto is to kill everything that he thinks is to blame for our country, when in fact it is the Liberals & NDP who are killing our once free Godly land. Please take the time to vote, for to do nothing in the face of evil, is evil itself! We will all be Judged for what wee do & do not do for the country we live in, many innocent people will suffer for it. AMEN
