TOV 25-136 Confirming God’s Word with Peace

TODAY’S FOCUS IS: Letting Peace Be the Voice That Anchors You
2

Every man faces decisions that feel like battlefields—work, relationships, leadership, calling. And in the chaos of opinions, pressures, and expectations, we often ask: “God, is this really You?” The answer may not always come through signs or voices—but often through peace.

Peace is not the absence of conflict. It’s the presence of God in the middle of the storm. It’s how God often confirms His Word to a man who is truly listening.

Our springboard for today’s discussion is:
“And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.” — Colossians 3:15 (ESV)

The word “rule” here means to “act as an umpire.” In other words, let peace be the deciding factor. If God speaks something to you—His peace will accompany it, even if it’s hard.

Too many men move forward based on pressure, emotion, or opportunity—but not peace. And when peace is absent, confusion reigns. But when God’s peace is present, confidence grows.

Don’t ignore that tension in your spirit. If there’s no peace, pause. If there is peace, even if it doesn’t make worldly sense—go.

Peace is God’s internal compass. Don’t overlook it.

Question of the Day:
What decisions in your life right now need to be confirmed by God’s peace—not your plans?

Let’s Pray:
Father, help me to recognize Your peace as a sign of Your leading. Quiet the noise of my heart and teach me to walk in the confidence that comes from You. Confirm Your word not just with power—but with peace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Let’s Get To Work!
Peace isn’t a soft feeling—it’s a strong confirmation. Follow where His peace leads. That’s where the will of God always walks.
