TOV 25-088 Unleashing Power in Your Family and Leadership

TODAY'S FOCUS IS: Leading with Boldness, Love, and the Strength of the Holy Spirit
5

A man walking in God’s power influences his family, workplace, and community. Leadership isn’t about dominance—it’s about direction. It’s about stepping forward with faith when the world tells you to step back. It’s about setting the tone in your home, making decisions rooted in God’s wisdom, and standing firm when challenges arise. True power isn’t found in control; it’s found in surrender—to the Holy Spirit, to God’s Word, and to the call He has placed on your life.

Our springboard for today’s discussion is: Joshua 1:9 – "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."

When God commanded Joshua to be strong and courageous, He wasn’t suggesting it—He was commanding it. Why? Because the weight of leadership is heavy, but God’s presence makes it bearable. The same applies to you. Whether you’re leading your family through a tough season, guiding a team at work, or making difficult spiritual decisions, you don’t do it alone. The Holy Spirit empowers you to lead with boldness, love, and wisdom.

Courageous leadership means speaking truth when silence would be easier. It means making decisions based on faith, not fear. It means showing love and discipline in equal measure. The world needs men who will lead their families, communities, and churches with unshakable faith. And that starts with you.

Question of the Day: Where is God calling you to step up and lead with boldness today?

Let’s Pray: Lord, give me the strength and courage to lead in the way You have called me. Let me walk in boldness, not fear. Fill me with wisdom and the power of the Holy Spirit to be the leader my family and community need. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
