Scripture: Galatians 2:20 – "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."
Let me ask you something, Warrior: How often do pride and fear whisper in your ear, pulling you back from living the bold, faith-filled life you were created for? They come in different disguises—pride that insists, I’ve got this, and fear that whispers, What if I fail? These twin thieves will steal your peace, your purpose, and your trust in God if you let them.
The Apostle Paul knew this battle well. When he wrote Galatians 2:20, he wasn’t speaking from theory—he was speaking as a man who had died to his old ways of self-reliance and fear. Pride says, You can do this without God. Fear says, What if He doesn’t show up? But faith? Faith declares, Christ lives in me, and He is enough.
Choosing faith means surrendering the need to control outcomes. It’s about trusting that God’s power is made perfect in your weakness. The world says strength is in independence, but the Kingdom of God tells a different story: strength is in surrender.
Here’s the strategy, Warrior. First, confront pride with humility. Acknowledge your need for God daily. Pray, Lord, not my will, but Yours be done. Then, face fear with truth. Remind yourself of His promises: I will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Finally, walk it out. Faith is more than belief; it’s action. Take the step, even if it’s shaky, and trust that God will catch you.
Let’s Pray:
Father, I surrender my pride and fear to You. Teach me to walk in faith, to trust in Your strength when I feel weak, and to lean on Your promises when doubt creeps in. Help me remember that Christ lives in me, and that is enough. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
