Hey there, friendsâfellow travelers in faith,
Let me share something with you. Recently, we received an email that struck a chord. In response to one of our fundraising messages, a reader expressed some frustration. It wasnât easy to read, but it was honest. And honesty deserves respect.
So, why bring it up? Because it matters. First off, youâevery single one of you reading thisâare why we do what we do. Youâre the reason we wake up, pour a cup of coffee, and get to work. You inspire us. You challenge us. And we value your feedback, even when it stings a little.
Second, if one person feels that way, maybe others do too. And instead of brushing it aside, weâre taking it head-on.
Hereâs the truth: we donât love asking for support any more than you love being asked. But hereâs the other side of the coinâif we didnât, we couldnât keep doing what we do. Weâd love to make everything completely free, forever, without ever mentioning the âDâ word (donations). But this mission of oursâsharing Godâs love through podcasts, blogs, devotionals, and moreâit takes resources.
We do our best to give away as much as we possibly can. The Power of Godâs Whisper Podcast, the Tribe of Valor blogs, the God Messagesâtheyâre all out there for free. The only things behind a $5 per month paywall are extras, like Voices of the Bible and Marcus the Centurion. And even that? Weâve priced it as low as we can. Heck, we even provide a free RightNow Media account for those who really need it.
Once or twice a year, we reach out to youâour friends, our communityâand ask if you might consider stepping into a partnership with us. Not because weâre salespeople looking for a transaction, but because we believe in the work weâre doing and hope you do too.
We think this approach is fair. You donât pay upfront. You experience the content first. If it equips you, encourages you, and points you closer to God, then you decide if itâs worth supporting. That feels right to us. It feels Biblical, too.
So, there it is. Transparency. Honesty. And a whole lot of gratitude. Whether you choose to support us financially or not, youâre part of this community. You matter to us. And we are praying that 2025 brings incredible blessings to you and your family.
With gratitude and respect,
Matthew and Michelle Adams
