I remember the day as if it were yesterday.
Two of Jesus's disciples approached our home, seemingly in search of something. Their eyes wandered to our beloved donkey and her young colt, grazing peacefully at the village entrance. My wife, often referred to as "The Donkey Lady," had a unique bond with these animals. They were her companions, her pride and joy, creatures she had lovingly nurtured since birth.
The disciples approached us, expressing their Master’s need for our animals. My wife's eyes, filled with concern, met mine. We both knew about Jesus, the man causing a stir with His teachings and miracles. And here we were, being asked to contribute to His journey.
