To the people of Judah and all who reflect upon the annals of our history,

I, Uzziah, son of Amaziah and grandson of Joash, have ruled over Judah for 52 years, through times both prosperous and challenging. “In all his ways, Uzziah sought the Lord, and God gave him success,” says the Holy Scripture (2 Chronicles 26:5).
