Dear Brothers and Sisters in Faith,
I am Tola, a figure perhaps not widely recognized but mentioned briefly in the Book of Judges. Though my biblical record might be brief, I hope the details of my leadership and devotion to Israel inspire you on your faith journey.
A man of Issachar, I was the son of Puah and the grandson of Dodo. Raised in the hill country of Ephraim, in the town of Shamir, I was chosen by God to lead His people following the chaotic era of Abimelech. It was a tumultuous time, but by God's grace, I served as Israel's judge for 23 years, diligently working toward peace and stability.
