Dear Descendants of the Faith,
I am Shem, son of Noah, a witness to the destruction of a world and the dawning of a new epoch under the covenant of the Most High. As one of the three sons aboard the ark, I was granted the providence of survival through the Flood, an event that not only redefined the contours of the earth but also the trajectory of human destiny. Through this letter, I hope to impart the reflections and lessons borne out of a life intertwined with the divine narrative of judgment and grace.
Our early days were set against the backdrop of increasing corruption and moral decay that pervaded humanity. My father, Noah, a man of righteousness in an era marked by wickedness, found favor in the eyes of the Lord. Amidst this pervasive corruption, our family stood as a solitary beacon of hope and obedience. "Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God." (Genesis 6:9, NIV).
