To the generations of Israel, both present and those yet to arise,
From the rolling hills of Judah to the sprawling plains, I pen this letter with a heart heavy with reflection and a spirit filled with hope. I am Jotham, son of Uzziah, who once held the scepter of Judah. My life, stretching from 750 bc to 721 bc, was marked not only by my reign but by the ceaseless struggle between faithfulness and apostasy.
