I am from Gilead and my father's name is also Gilead

My name is Jephthah, and my story unfolds in the Old Testament, in the Book of Judges (11:1-12:7). I am from Gilead and my father's name is also Gilead. My mother, however, was a prostitute, and because of this, my half-brothers drove me away, not wanting me to share in our father's inheritance.
