I am the 11th King of the Northern Kingdom of Israel.

I, Jehoahaz, the 11th King of the Northern Kingdom of Israel, wish to share with you a reflection on my journey, from the throne's inheritance to the profound lessons of faith and adversity.

God declared during King Jehu's time, "Because you have done well in accomplishing what is right in my eyes and have done to the house of Ahab all I had in mind to do, your descendants will sit on the throne of Israel to the fourth generation." (2 Kings 10:30). Such a promise was an anchor for our dynasty, even amid the swirling storms of power struggles. Thanks to this divine assurance, my ascension to the throne was smooth, without the shadows of conspiracy or rebellion.
