I am Jair, a Gileadite, chosen by God to serve as a judge over Israel in times past, as recorded in the Old Testament. Although my story is brief in the Book of Judges (10:3-5), it conveys lessons of faithful leadership and the significance of peaceful periods in Israel's history.
