To the generations of faithful and those seeking the Lord’s truth,
I, Isaiah, son of Amoz, address you with a heart brimming with the spirit of our Lord and tales of a life dedicated to His service. From 740 BC to 681 BC, my existence has been a testament to God’s power, His wrath, His mercy, and above all, His unending love for His children.
Born into a time when our beloved land was fraught with conflict, where the fires of political intrigues, foreign threats, and spiritual decay burned bright, I was called by the Almighty for a divine purpose. It began with a vision in the year of King Uzziah's death. I saw the Lord seated on His throne, seraphim at His service, and heard the words that would forever change my course: “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” Without hesitation, I responded, “Here am I. Send me!” (Isaiah 6:8). That day marked my covenant with God as His prophet, a messenger of His will to the people of Judah and Jerusalem.
