My birth was nothing short of a miracle, as my mother Sarah had long been barren and was well beyond the age of childbearing. Yet, God's promise to my father was clear, and against all odds, I was born to a couple who had waited patiently for a child of their own. As I grew, I was raised in the tradition of monotheism, taught by my father Abraham to worship and obey the one true God. My life was marked by an unwavering devotion to God's commands, a devotion that would be put to the ultimate test when my father received a divine command to offer me as a sacrifice.

As he raised his knife to fulfill God's command, an angel of the Lord intervened, providing a ram for the sacrifice in my place. In the years that followed, I was blessed to find a loving wife, Rebekah, through the guidance of my father and God's providence. Together, we raised two sons, Esau and Jacob, whose lives and experiences would carry on the legacy of faith that began with my father Abraham.
