Dear Brothers and Sisters in Faith,
I am Ephraim, son of Joseph and Asenath, and grandson of Jacob and Rachel. My story, which can be found primarily in the book of Genesis, may not be as prominently featured as some, yet it holds lessons of great importance.
Born in Egypt during my father Joseph's rise to power, my birth was a testament to God's faithfulness and providence. My name, Ephraim, means 'fruitful,' chosen by my father to signify God's blessings in the land of his affliction (Genesis 41:52).
