My Name Is Amos...
I am the son of Uzziah, a humble shepherd and tender of fig trees from the town of Tekoa in Judah.
To the Twelve Tribes scattered across the land, and to all who have ears to hear the Word of the Lord,
I am Amos, son of Uzziah, a humble shepherd, and tender of fig trees from the town of Tekoa in Judah. I am neither a prophet nor a son of a prophet by human standards; I am but a simple man who answered the call of God. I extend this letter to you as an echo of my own journey, one scripted by the Divine and brimming with His revelations, judgments, and undying love for His people. As it is written, "The Lord does nothing without revealing His secret to His servants the prophets" (Amos 3:7).
