I am Ahab, son of Omri, former King of Israel who ruled between 874 BC and 852 BC. A notorious reputation precedes me in religious and historical texts alike. Yet, I pen this letter in an attempt to illuminate you with my truth, my heart, and my repentance.

First, let's address the elephant in the room - my transgressions. I married Jezebel, an event seen as the sale of my soul to evil. Jezebel, whose name is often a synonym for wickedness, and I committed atrocities, the most infamous of which was the murder of Naboth for his vineyard. This cruel act brought God’s wrath upon my house. Elijah, the prophet, was sent to deliver this harsh message of divine judgment against Jezebel, myself, and our progeny.
