The wind carried the scent of fresh bread and roasted lamb through the narrow streets of Cana as Jonah and I rode into town. The city was alive with activity, merchants calling out their wares, children darting between the crowd, and travelers like us passing through. But there was something else, something more electric in the air. A lingering excitement, as if something remarkable had happened.
I felt it before I heard it.
