It’s been weeks since I last heard anything concrete about Jesus. Every day feels like I’m wading through thick fog, grasping for something tangible, something to tell me where He is and what He’s planning. But there’s been nothing. The silence is deafening, and it’s starting to gnaw at me. Where has He gone? Is He still alive? Has He abandoned His mission, whatever it is? Or is He waiting, biding His time in the wilderness, preparing for something we can’t even imagine?
I find myself growing restless. The longer I go without any real answers, the more agitated I become. I was sent here to keep the peace, to uphold the law of Rome. But how can I do that when the people’s faith in this so-called Messiah keeps growing in the absence of any real evidence? Every day, more rumors spread—some say He’s planning to return soon, while others claim He’s disappeared for good. The uncertainty is what bothers me the most. It makes it impossible to know what to expect.
