Warrior,
There is a lie that has kept the Church crouched behind sandbags for generations.
The lie says you are under siege. It says the walls are yours to hold, the doors are yours to bar, the best you can hope for is to survive until the rescue comes. Hunker down. Ride it out. Try not to lose too much ground.
Read your orders again, soldier. Nowhere does the King tell you to hold a wall.
He said the gates of hell would not prevail against His Church. Gates. Think about that. Gates are not offensive weapons. Nobody ever charged a battlefield swinging a gate. Gates are what you put up when someone is coming for you.
“And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” (Matthew 16:18, KJV)
Hell is the one behind the wall. Hell is the one who barred the door. Hell is the one listening to the drums get louder and hoping the hinges hold.
They won’t.
Because there was a day — one day, the day everything turned — when the King Himself went down into the dark, alone, and did not come back empty-handed. He walked into the enemy’s own territory, tore the keys off his belt, and walked out the front gate with the captives behind Him.
“I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.” (Revelation 1:18, KJV)
The throne room has already been raided. The strongman has already been bound. Everything the enemy still holds, he holds by squatter’s rights and intimidation — bluffing with an authority he lost two thousand years ago at a hill outside Jerusalem.
So here are your actual orders, Warrior.
Stop defending. Start advancing.
That addiction that’s held your family for three generations? That is occupied territory. That fear that has run your decisions since you were a child? Occupied territory. That relationship, that city, that dark room where someone you love is sitting alone right now believing there’s no way out?
Occupied territory — and you have been issued a cross, a Name, and a King who has never lost a single engagement.
“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.” (2 Corinthians 10:4, KJV)
Pulling down. Not holding out.
The drums are pounding. The banners are burning. Fall in.
By Christ eternal — He conquers all.
⚔️ YOUR TACTICS FOR THE FIGHT
1. TAKE GROUND. DON’T JUST HOLD IT.
Survival is not the mission. Every day you should be able to name one inch that belonged to the enemy yesterday and belongs to the King today. Prayer is not a bunker. It is a breach.
“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.” — Matthew 11:12, KJV
2. STRIKE WITH THE CROSS.
Your opinion doesn’t shake hell. Your willpower doesn’t shake hell. The finished work of Christ shakes hell. Lead every engagement with what He accomplished, never with what you’re attempting.
“Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us... and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; and having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.” — Colossians 2:14-15, KJV
3. NO RETREAT. NO TURNING BACK.
The enemy’s entire strategy is to make the cost of advancing feel higher than the cost of quitting. He lies. Retreat costs everything. Put your hand to the plow and burn the road behind you.
“And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.” — Luke 9:62, KJV
4. STRIKE THE CHAINS — YOURS AND THEIRS.
You are not just fighting for your own freedom. You are a rescue operation. Somebody is still sitting in the dark waiting for a soldier who refuses to leave them there.
“And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.” — Jude 1:23, KJV
5. MARCH AS ONE.
Lone soldiers get surrounded. The abyss doesn’t fall to individuals — it falls to an army moving in formation, covering each other’s flanks, roaring with one voice.
“Two are better than one... And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.” — Ecclesiastes 4:9,12, KJV
🔥 MUSTER THE RANKS
Warrior, an invasion needs an army.
Somewhere out there is a believer who has been holding a wall for years, exhausted, convinced defense is all there is. They have never once been told they were built to advance.
Go get them.
Forward these Marching Orders. Put a sword in their hand. Every recruit is another hammer against the gates, another set of boots in the smoke, another voice in the war cry that hell has learned to dread.
