Dear Beloved Friends and Family,
I trust that this letter finds you well and thriving in the grace and love of our Lord. Today, I felt compelled to share a few thoughts that have been heavy on my heart. I've been reflecting on the lies that Satan tries to plant within us, and I felt the urge to remind you all of an important truth.
I've spent considerable time pondering over John 14:9-14, wherein Jesus speaks so eloquently to Philip. He essentially tells him, "If you've seen me, you've seen the Father... if you ask anything in my name, I will do it." These words carry profound significance; they're not only a testament to Jesus's divinity but also an affirmation of His promise to us.
Jesus, our Savior, has given us the ability to wield His power against the enemy, Satan. Yet, one of the lies Satan consistently whispers is that we, as children of God, have no power over him. This is a falsehood intended to separate us from God, to fill us with doubt and despair, and to blind us to the authority we've been freely given by our Lord.
Satan's goal is to make us feel weak, alone, and hopeless. He wants us to believe that we're powerless against his schemes. But my dear friends and family, this is far from the truth. Remember, in Jesus, we have a power that is far greater than any force that comes against us.
Jesus, our Lord, has given us the authority to rebuke Satan, to banish fear, to heal wounds, and to overcome. And we should use this authority with boldness, remembering always that we're not fighting in our own strength, but in the strength and power of Jesus Christ Himself.
So, when you feel like you're under attack when you feel that the enemy is trying to steal your peace, remember the words of Jesus from John 14. Stand in His authority, rebuke Satan in the name of Jesus, and remember that you're a child of the Almighty God, equipped with divine power.
In these challenging times, let's continue to uplift one another and stand firm in our faith. Let's not allow any lies of the enemy to blur our vision or weaken our spiritual strength. And remember, as children of God, we are never alone. Jesus has given us His power freely, and through Him, we are more than conquerors.
Thank you for taking the time to read my letter. May God bless you, keep you, and may His peace abide with you always.
With much love and prayers,
Matthew Adams
Very encouraging.
