A Letter from the Fields of Eden: The Testimony of Cain and the Legacy of Abel
From Division to Redemption
Beloved Brethren in Faith,
From the echoes of ancient pasts, my voice, Cain, reaches out to you accompanied by the silent witness of my brother Abel, whose life and death continue to speak volumes across the ages. As we recount our story—a narrative woven into the very fabric of human history—we hope it serves as both a caution and a guide, illuminating the paths of righteousness and warning against the perils of sin.
Our lives began in innocence, as the firstborn sons of Adam and Eve, the progenitors of humanity. We were born outside the perfect garden of Eden, into a world already shadowed by the consequences of our parents’ choices. In this new reality, our roles took shape early: I, Cain, tilled the soil, laboring to extract sustenance from the earth that had been cursed for our father’s disobedience. Abel, meanwhile, tended the flocks, a shepherd whose gentleness was apparent even in his youth.
