Let’s be honest—sometimes we hear something in our minds or hearts that leaves us feeling crushed, ashamed, or like we’ve failed too many times for God to ever use us again. But is that God speaking—or someone else?
Our springboard for today’s discussion is:
"There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." — Romans 8:1
God's voice brings conviction, not condemnation. And there’s a world of difference between the two.
Conviction is surgical. It’s precise. God shows us what needs to change, but always with hope, love, and a clear path back into His arms. His conviction says, “This is not who you are—come back to Me.”
But condemnation? That’s the enemy’s tactic. It’s vague, heavy, hopeless. It shouts, “You’re a failure. You’ll never change. You might as well quit.”
Here’s the key: when God speaks correction, it draws you closer to Him, not further away. He doesn’t expose you to shame you—He reveals to heal. His voice doesn’t chain you to your past—it calls you into freedom.
So when you hear that inner voice after a mistake, pause. Ask yourself: Is this voice calling me out in love or pushing me down in shame? One voice leads to repentance and restoration. The other to regret and ruin.
Question of the Day:
Is this voice lifting you up or tearing you down?
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank You for the gentle way You correct me. Help me to recognize Your conviction and reject the enemy’s condemnation. Draw me closer, even when I fall. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Let’s Get To Work!
God’s voice brings clarity, not confusion… and grace, not guilt.
