25-102 Building a Legacy of Listening

TODAY’S FOCUS IS: Creating a space to remember and respond to the voice of God
4

Ever heard God speak, only to forget it days later? Life moves fast, and moments of divine clarity can slip through the cracks if we’re not intentional. What if you created a space to capture and revisit those whispers—a personal legacy of listening?

Our springboard for today’s discussion is:
"Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it." — Habakkuk 2:2 (ESV)

God’s voice deserves to be remembered. In Habakkuk’s time, the Lord instructed the prophet to write the vision down—make it plain, clear, and accessible. Why? So that others could run with it. Today, that principle still stands. We need to write what God speaks to us—not just for ourselves but for those who will one day need our testimony.

That’s why I want to challenge you to build your own “Whispering Gallery”—a journal or space where you capture the voice of God in your life. Maybe it’s a notebook where you record dreams, answered prayers, or scriptures that leap off the page. Perhaps it’s a vision board with images and verses that reflect what God is calling you into. Or a prayer wall filled with names, burdens, and praise reports.

You’re not just recording moments—you’re building a legacy. Every whisper matters. Every divine nudge is worth remembering. When you look back, you’ll see not just what God said—but how faithful He’s been every step of the way.

Question of the Day:
What’s one way you can begin capturing God’s whispers today—journal, vision board, or prayer wall?

Let’s Pray:
Lord, help me become a good steward of Your voice. Teach me to write down what You say, so I can run with it and pass it on. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
