God doesn’t just speak in solitude; He often uses people as vessels to deliver His wisdom, correction, and encouragement. Whether through a mentor, a friend, or even a stranger, the voice of God can come wrapped in the words of those around us. But are we listening?
Our springboard for today’s discussion is: Proverbs 27:17 – "Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another."
Throughout Scripture, we see examples of God using people to guide and instruct His children. Think of Nathan confronting David, Paul mentoring Timothy, or even Jesus speaking truth into the lives of His disciples. Relationships are a refining tool in our spiritual growth, shaping us to become more like Christ.
Sometimes, God's voice is gentle—like a trusted friend giving wise counsel. Other times, it may challenge us, forcing us to confront difficult truths. We must cultivate a heart that is open to hearing God, even when His message comes from unexpected sources.

Let’s Pray: Lord, open my heart and ears to hear You through the people You place in my life. Give me wisdom to discern Your voice and humility to receive correction and encouragement. Help me to be an instrument of Your truth for others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
