Have you ever faced a situation where every door seemed to slam shut, or an unexpected opportunity appeared out of nowhere? These moments aren’t random—they’re part of God’s divine plan.
Our springboard for today’s discussion is: Revelation 3:8—"I know your works. Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut."
Jesus spoke these words to the church in Philadelphia, reminding them that His guidance is sovereign. He opens doors no one can close and closes doors no one can force open. Understanding this principle is key to walking in faith and confidence.
God often closes doors to protect us from paths that aren’t meant for us. It might be a job we didn’t get, a relationship that ended, or an opportunity that fell through. In the moment, it may feel like rejection, but in reality, it’s redirection. When a door shuts, it’s not the end—it’s an invitation to trust that God has something better ahead.
At the same time, when God opens a door, it requires faith to step through. Many times, fear, doubt, or comfort zones keep us from embracing new opportunities. But if God has opened the door, He will provide everything needed to walk through it.

Let’s Pray: Lord, help us trust You when doors close and have the courage to step forward when You open new ones. Give us wisdom and discernment to follow Your lead. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
