My Precious Child,
Today, I want to talk to you about one of the most precious gifts I offer through My Holy Spirit: the gift of wisdom. Wisdom is not just knowledge or intellect; it is the ability to apply My truths to your life in a way that leads to righteous living and a deeper understanding of Me.
In James 1:5, I promised, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." This promise is as true today as it was when it was written. Wisdom is a gift that I am eager to bestow upon you because it equips you to navigate life’s complexities and challenges with divine insight and clarity.
Wisdom begins with reverence for Me. As Proverbs 9:10 says, "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding." This "fear" is not about being afraid; it’s about holding a deep respect and awe for My majesty and authority. When you place Me at the center of your life and seek to honor Me in all you do, you open the door to receiving My wisdom.
The gift of wisdom helps you discern My will in various situations. It’s the inner voice that guides you when you face difficult decisions, the insight that helps you understand complex issues, and the clarity that brings peace amidst confusion. Wisdom is practical, touching every aspect of your life—from relationships and work to spiritual growth and personal integrity.
Remember Solomon, who asked for wisdom above all else, and I was pleased to grant his request (1 Kings 3:9-12). His life demonstrates the profound impact of wisdom. With it, he led a nation, made just decisions, and penned proverbs that continue to guide My people today. Solomon’s story is a testament to the power of seeking and receiving My wisdom.
I want you to know that wisdom is not reserved for a select few. It is available to all who earnestly seek it. Spend time in My Word, where you will find a treasure trove of wisdom. Let My scriptures fill your heart and mind, shaping your thoughts and actions. Pray for wisdom daily, and listen for My Spirit’s guidance. He will illuminate your path, showing you the way to go.
Wisdom also involves humility and a teachable spirit. Be open to correction and willing to learn from others. Seek counsel from godly mentors and friends who reflect My wisdom in their lives. Avoid the pitfalls of pride and self-reliance, and lean on My understanding, not your own (Proverbs 3:5-6).
As you embrace the gift of wisdom, you will notice its transformative power. Your decisions will reflect My righteousness, your interactions will be filled with grace and understanding, and your life will become a beacon of light in a world often shrouded in darkness.
My beloved child, wisdom is My gift to you—freely given, deeply transformative, and eternally valuable. Embrace it with a humble heart and a seeking spirit. Let My wisdom guide you, shape you, and draw you closer to Me.
