We're exploring Jeremiah 1:12, where the Lord assures us, "I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled." Sometimes it can feel like our God-given dreams are on an extended pause or have taken a detour. But remember, God is always at work, even when we can't see it.
Point 1- Consider the story of Joseph, sold into slavery, and wrongfully imprisoned, yet he held on to the dream God gave him. It took years, but every twist and turn was part of God's divine plan, leading him to his destiny.
Point 2- Then we have David, anointed as king, but facing obstacles and oppositions before reaching his throne. God's timing might baffle us, but remember, His delays are not His denials. There's purpose even in the pauses.
Point 3- Think about Abraham, Moses, Caleb, Joshua, and the captives of Babylon—all of them waited far longer than they expected to. Yet, during this waiting period, their faith was refined, character shaped, and spiritual muscles were flexed. The waiting is not stagnation; it's preparation.
Closing- Friends, don't lose heart when the fulfillment of God's promises seem delayed. God has not forgotten; He has not abandoned His plans for you. He is actively watching over His word to perform it. If He has said it, you can be assured, He will do it.
