23-061 GOD'S VOICE IS RESERVED

Hey there Warrior, and welcome back to the Power of God’s Whisper podcast. Today we’re diving into James 1:5.

So many Christians believe that hearing God’s voice is reserved for the super-spiritual, but James tells us otherwise. If we need wisdom, all we have to do is ask our generous God, and He will give it to us. It’s that simple.

As modern-day believers, we tend to second-guess the voice of wisdom far too often. We ask ourselves, “Is this really God speaking to me, or is it just my own desires?” But we have to remember that God’s ability to guide us is far greater than our ability to be deceived.

As long as we’re not willfully fooling ourselves and we’re humbly seeking God’s wisdom with an open mind, He will make it clear. We can trust the Holy Spirit within us, the desires He births in our hearts, and the thoughts that He brings to mind.

Receiving wisdom from above is meant to be a natural experience. We’re meant to be able to hear and discern God’s voice, sense His direction, and know His nature by direct revelation. The Father’s thoughts can be implanted into our minds, and we can trust them.

So, if you need wisdom, don’t hesitate to ask our generous God. He’s waiting to share His heart with you. And don’t get caught up in questioning every little thought that comes to mind. Trust that if you’re seeking Him with an open heart and mind, He will make His will clear to you.
